Basic Calling Procedure for Colored Belt Testing

  • White Belts
  • Center the students, call to attention, and then bow in to the judges.
  • Horseback Riding Stance.
  • Single Punch, 4 total.
  • Double Punch, 4 punches per side.
  • Kick Up, 4 kicks per side.
  • Start marching with low block, 1 block.
  • Middle Punch, 4 total, turn around, english command only.
  • High Punch, 4 total, turn around, english command only.
  • Knife Hand Punch, 4 total, turn around, english command only.
  • High Block, 4 total, turn around, english command only.
  • Position students to start their form, once completed, then Barrow, bow out to judges and dismiss.

 

  • Yellow Belt
  • Center the students, call to attention, and then bow in to the judges.
  • Horseback Riding Stance .
  • Single Punch, 4 total.
  • Double Punch, 4 punches per side.
  • Kick Up, 4 kicks per side.
  • Side Block, 4 total, turn around, english command only.
  • Double Knife Hand Block, 4 total, turn around, english command only.
  • Knife Hand Strike, 4 total, turn around, english command only, Barrow, back up.
  • Marching Side Kick, 3 total per side, turn around, Barrow.
  • Position students to start their form, once completed, then Barrow, bow out to judges and dismiss.

 

  • Yellow Green Belt
  • Center the students, call to attention, and then bow in to the judges.
  • Right Leg back, sparring stance, Front Kick - Double Punch, 4 per side, then change feet again, english command only.
  • High Side Kick, 4 per side, then change feet again, english command only.
  • High Round House Kick, 4 per side, then change feet again, english command only, Barrow.
  • Position students to start their form, once completed, then Barrow,
  • One Step Sparring, face each other, unless judges state otherwise, call out number(s) on students to be offense first, once completed then bow out to judges and dismiss.

 

  • Low Green and above
  • Center the students, call to attention, and then bow in to the judges.
  • Form, once completed, barrow.
  • Sparring, judges may match up students, you may be asked to referee, once completed then bow out to judges and dismiss.
