- Ready Stance (Joonbi)
1. Pivoting of the right foot turn counter clockwise
to the 9 o’clock position. Then execute a left front stance with
a left hand high block.
2. Leaving the high block in position while execute
a right front kick using the rear foot. As the kicking foot returns
to the ground, land in a right front stance, followed with a right hand
middle punch.
3. Leading with the front (right) foot and pivoting
on the rear (left) foot. Turn clockwise to the 3 o’clock position
into a right front stance with a right hand high block.
4. Leaving the high block in position while executing
a left front kick using the rear foot. As the kicking foot returns to
the ground, land in a left front stance, followed with a left hand middle
punch.
5. Leading with the front (left) foot and pivoting on
the rear (right) foot. Turn counter clockwise to the 12 o’clock
position into a right back stance with a low double knife hand block
(left hand in front).
6. Stepping forward with the rear (right) foot into
a left back stance with a high double knife hand block (right hand in
front).
7. Stepping forward with the rear (left) foot into a
left front stance with a left hand high block.
8. Stepping forward with the rear (right) foot into
a right front stance with a right hand middle punch with a ki-hap at
the end of the punch.
9. Leading with the rear (left) foot and pivoting on
the front (right) foot. Turn counter clockwise to the 3 o’clock
position into a left front stance with a left hand high block.
10. Leaving the high block in position while execute
a right front kick using the rear foot. As the kicking foot returns
to the ground, land in a right front stance, followed with a right hand
middle punch.
11. Leading with the front (right) foot and pivoting
on the rear (left) foot. Turn clockwise to the 9 o’clock position
into a right front stance with a right hand high block.
12. Leaving the high block in position while executing
a left front kick using the rear foot. As the kicking foot returns to
the ground, land in a left front stance, followed with a left hand middle
punch.
13. Leading with the front (left) foot and pivoting
on the rear (right) foot. Turn counter clockwise to the 6 o’clock
position into a right back stance with a low double fist block (left
hand in front).
14. Stepping forward with the rear (right) foot into
a left back stance, while executing a high double fist strike (right
hand in front, and targeting the facial area, the left hand fist will
be placed by the right elbow).
15. Stepping forward with the rear (left) foot into
a left front stance, while executing an outside side block to facial
area.
16. Stepping forward with the rear (right) foot into
a right front stance, while executing a right hand middle punch with
a ki-hap at the end of the punch.
17. Leading with the rear (left) foot and pivoting on
the front (right) foot. Turn counter clockwise to the 9 o’clock
position into a left front stance with a left hand high block.
18. Leaving the high block in position while execute
a right front kick using the rear foot. As the kicking foot returns
to the ground, land in a right front stance, followed with a right hand
middle punch.
19. Leading with the front (right) foot and pivoting
on the rear (left) foot. Turn clockwise to the 3 o’clock position
into a right front stance with a right hand high block.
20. Leaving the high block in position while executing
a left front kick using the rear foot. As the kicking foot returns to
the ground, land in a left front stance, followed with a left hand middle
punch.
- Be sure to step forward when going to barrow.
- Remain in last position of the form until the instructor
tells you to return to the ready stance. (Barro).
