Academic Leaders

This page was designed to help honor those students who excel in the academic chapter of their lives. If a student is getting straight A's in school, or doing something special for their school then please contact your instructor. Present your report card and or project information to the instructor for review. The instructor will then submit your name, age, grade, school (both academic and tae kwon do) and belt level to the site manager.

Kyle Jones, is a high green belt with Eckert Institute. He has obtained honors awards at ITT Technical Institute in Grand Rapids, Mi for the following semesters, summer 2007, fall 2007, and spring 2008. Congratulations, Kyle! (2008-7-29).

Volley Holbrook; Is a low green belt at Sheridan School. Who has obtained a 3.875 GPA in his last college semester. Congratulations! [2005-8-17]

Deb Curtis; Is a yellow belt at Sheridan School. Who has recently graduated from Montcalm Community College. She has chosen her degree in the medical field. We would like to congratulate her on completing her degree. [2005-8-17]

Breanna Collins; is a yellow green belt at Sheridan School. She has finished the school year with 4 A's, 4 B's and 1 C. This is a improvement from the 1st semester. When she carried only 3 A's, 4 B's and 2 C's. She has also only missed a half day of school all year, and only one tardy for the whole year. Breanna good job and keep up the good work in the 5th grade. [2005-7-27]

Jessica Bennett; 1st dan Black Belt at Sheridan School. Miss Bennett has obtained a 3.7 GPA at Montcalm Community College. She has chosen a career in the medical field. Good job and keep up the good work. [2005-07-14]

Ian Hatch; High Red 1 at Portage School. Ian's quite the ferocious forensics competitor. He and his multiple teams have won every competition they've been in to date. Working their way up to the state competition last weekend. Ian took second overall in the state for his solo performance; his team took first in the state overall. Ian has earned a varsity letter from Portage Northern High School for his efforts. Quite the accomplishment for a freshman.

Tonija Mikula; Yellow-Green Belt at Sheridan School. Tonija has achieved a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.93 at Montcalm Community College (MCC). In achieving this high level GPA, has earned a place on the President's Honor List at MCC. Great job Tonija!
